Rebirth at the End of Vacation, Along with an Unexplainable Gloom

I have to go back to school for classes tomorrow morning. This vacation, which seemed long but passed by so quickly, has gone by in a daze, day after day.

I still remember that when the vacation first began, I had made some good plans for it. In fact, they were completely useless. I didn't live each day according to my plans; instead, I just muddled through. Apart from eating and sleeping, all I did was play on my phone.

Time has passed far too quickly, and there's simply no way to hold on to any trace of it slipping away. If the vacation were only just beginning now, perhaps I would spend it more meaningfully (just kidding). That's impossible. In a few dozen hours, I'll really have to go back to school. I won't be able to sleep until twelve in the morning and then get up for breakfast anymore, nor will I be able to stay up until two or three in the morning playing Honor of Kings.

School life is dreary. Besides the tedious studying, there are also endless textbooks to read. And now I still have two years of hardship waiting for me. Come to think of it, this is my last complete summer vacation. I've heard that the summer vacation of the second year of high school lasts only a little over twenty days, after which we'll have to begin preparing for the gaokao.

No matter what, time passes without ever turning back. All I can do is continue striving and work hard to make the most of every day. That is what truly matters.

I just looked at the class-placement list, and I'm very disappointed. In the end, I still missed the key class. When I first found out my grades, I was rather proud, but now it seems that the things I thought were worth being proud of are actually insignificant.

But I won't give up. There will be another class placement in my third year of high school, and that will be the final watershed. I will put in ten times the effort to reach a height that satisfies me.

Old Vacation Projects

During the more than fifty days of vacation, apart from all the idle time, I did study a little. I basically mastered the simple syntax of HTML, learned many CSS elements, and also conducted a simple exploration of PHP.

It's worth mentioning that I learned a programming language for mobile development (Yu Language) for the first time and successfully used iApp to write my first mobile app (not worth mentioning). I also wrote two new projects during the vacation. Since neither was completed, they were not officially released.

The names were pretty good, though. One was an online toolbox called NighTool. Night means nighttime, and Tool means a tool, so I combined the two words. The other project was an open API called YeOpen. It is a diverse open API; currently, only three or four APIs have been developed, and it is not stable, so it has not been officially released either.

After School Starts

Now that I'm in my second year of high school, my studies will become very intense, and I may not have much time to study programming. This blog will also switch to slow-update mode. I'll only be able to use a computer on Sundays, so I'll only update my posts on Sundays—and that also depends on my mood. What if I can't write any good articles anymore?

My current knowledge has also reached a bottleneck. If I can't break through it, I don't know what else to write about, so I'll just see what opportunities arise! This will be my last blog post before school starts. I originally had a lot I wanted to say, but as soon as I turned on the computer, my mind went completely blank.

I don't know what to say. My current mood is probably a mixture of parting sorrow, gloom, discomfort, and a little bit of disappointment.
