First Anniversary of the Blog

Another annual 520 Valentine's Day has arrived. Thinking back to this day last year, I set up this site with Jing'an's special-priced VPS at 22 yuan/month and published my first article. A whole year has passed since then.

It seems that I haven't written a blog post at all since the beginning of this year. My studies have been too busy, mainly because I've been occupied with other projects, so I haven't had much time. If today weren't such an important first anniversary, I might not have written a blog post until the summer vacation. Enough chit-chat—let's first take a look at this site's first blog post and what I've gained over the past year.

First Blog Post

This was the first blog post I wrote on Valentine's Day evening last year. That night, I had just moved from Typecho to WordPress. Looking back, I really do miss Typecho's simplicity.

Gains from the Year

I received a total of 308 comments (including my replies), wrote 87 blog posts (excluding this one), and got over 80,000 visits according to the wp-postviews plugin. I'm quite satisfied, and I hope to write more technical blog posts in the new year and share my experience with everyone. Don't go away—there's still a little bonus below.
