Flarum CV has quite a few built-in (official) extensions and third-party extensions. Enabling too many will inevitably affect the forum's speed, so it is essential to enable only the extensions suitable for your forum.

  • Akismet: Official extension - Prevents spam - To enable it, you must first register on the official website to obtain an API Key.
  • Approval: Official extension - Posts and replies require administrator approval - If your forum allows members to post and reply freely, you can disable it.
  • BBCode: Official extension - Supports BBCode - Be sure to enable it unless you do not need to format text.
  • Best Answer: Best answer - Allows you to set the best answer among the replies.
  • Custom Footer: Custom footer - Allows you to write any content to be displayed in the footer. If you do not need a footer, you can disable it.
  • Dashboard: Admin dashboard - Allows you to view the total number of members, discussions, and replies in the forum from the admin panel, and supports quickly enabling or disabling extensions.
  • Default Group: Default user group - Allows you to independently set a user group as the default group after registration, making it convenient to impose certain permission restrictions.

  • Details: Click to display - Can hide specified content, which can only be expanded by clicking. If you use CV's built-in editor, be sure to enable it.
  • Emoji: Official extension - Flarum's built-in emojis.
  • Emoji Picker: Emoji preview - Allows you to preview the emoji list and select the emoji to enter instead of entering it by typing code.
  • English: Official extension - Flarum's English language.
  • Facebook Login: Official extension - Supports registering with a Facebook account.
  • Filter: Banned keywords - Sets disabled keywords and also supports merging several replies from the same member into one post (merged posts have no time limit, so use with caution).
  • Flagrow Ads: Advertising extension - Allows you to place advertisements in several locations in the forum.

  • Flagrow Byōbu: Private conversations - This is the private messaging function.
  • Flagrow Upload: Attachment extension - Allows you to upload images or various files as forum attachments.
  • Flagrow Users List: Member list - Supports viewing forum member information (the modified version used on this site allows you to edit users in the admin panel).
  • Flags: Official extension - Allows members to report posts.
  • GitHub Login: Official extension - Supports registering for the forum with a GitHub account.
  • Likes: Official extension - Like function.
  • Links: Allows you to add custom redirect menus to the forum navigation bar.

  • Lock: Official extension - Allows administrators to lock posts and prevent replies.
  • Login2See: Visible after login - Allows you to set the length of post content visible to guests. The portion exceeding the limit can only be viewed after registration and login.
  • Markdown: Official extension - MD syntax extension. Unless you do not need text formatting, disabling it is not recommended.
  • Markdown Editor: Post editor - A simple editor combining BBCode and MD syntax.
  • MediaEmbed: Multimedia extension - Supports various video sites, NetEase Music, and more.
  • Mentions: Official extension - Used to @ users.
  • Pages: Custom pages - Allows you to write a page with custom content.

  • Post Copyright: Copyright statement - Allows you to select a copyright statement when posting.
  • Profile Image Crop: Crop avatar - If you upload a non-square image as your avatar, you can select and crop the desired area (the server must have PHP's EXIF extension installed).
  • Pusher: Official extension - Message push notifications. When there are new discussions in the discussion list, a pale yellow button reminding you of new posts will appear. You need to register on the Pusher official website.
  • ReFlar Gamification: Upvote or downvote posts - Replaces the functionality of the official Likes extension (it is recommended to disable the official Likes extension when enabling this one) and includes a user ranking function.
  • ReFlar Reactions: Reaction emojis - This is Facebook's Reactions function.
  • ReFlar User Management: Member management - Allows you to disable email registration, require names and ages during registration, enable StopForumSpam checks for spam emails, and more.
  • Reply2See: Visible after replying - The same as DZ's “visible after replying” function.

  • Simplified Chinese: Simplified Chinese language - If yours is an English forum, you can disable it.
  • Sitemap: Sitemap - Helps search engines index the site (of course, you can also submit it to search engines), and enabling it is recommended.
  • Social Profile: Extended user information - Allows your users to enter accounts such as QQ and Weibo.
  • Split: Split posts - Makes it convenient to cut off replies that are off topic and turn them into a new discussion.
  • Sticky: Official extension - Sticky post function.
  • Subscriptions: Official extension - Allows you to follow discussions.
  • Suspend: Official extension - Bans users.

  • Tags: Official extension - Categorization tags. Unless your posts do not need categorization tags, disabling it is not recommended.
  • Twitter Login: Official extension - Supports registering for the forum with a Twitter account.
  • Wechat Login: WeChat login - You need to have a verified WeChat developer service account (which requires payment).
