Farewell Typecho, Embracing WordPress Again

Last week, I deleted Xinye Blog, which had been created less than two months earlier, and switched from Typecho back to the WordPress I once loved most. The reason was simple: Typecho is too simple, and many features simply cannot be implemented. Although it is indeed lightweight, it really is not suitable for someone like me who loves tinkering.

I like WordPress because it is more powerful, and I can find any feature I want on WordPress.

Since I first encountered WordPress in 2016, an entire year has passed before I even realized it. I have built quite a few WordPress sites, more or less, and I am still very familiar with WordPress. I have translated WordPress plugins and WordPress themes. From a WordPress novice to a WordPress beginner, it feels somewhat surreal—time really does fly.

No matter how the world changes, I am still me. Looking ahead to 2017, I will do better!
